About Sergio Paez

Sergio Paez

An experienced educator and school administrator in the state of Massachusetts, Sergio Paez holds a bachelor of arts in sociology from Fitchburg State College, a master of education from Harvard University, and a doctor of education in school administration from Boston College. Over the course of his career, he has instructed students as a bilingual teacher with Fitchburg Public Schools and as an adjunct professor at Fitchburg State College. Sergio Paez’s career as an administrator includes tenures as the director of English language learning with Worcester Public Schools and as the superintendent of Holyoke Public Schools.

Since August of 2016, Sergio Paez has served as the human resources director of Leominster Public Schools. This position places him in charge of all human resources functions for a district that contains more than 550 teachers and 6,200 students. In addition to overseeing general hiring processes, Mr. Paez’s duties range from negotiating contracts and assisting school leaders to conducting investigations and providing employee benefits.
